Bryce Vine Romanticizes Cali Culture in "La La Land" Video

Plenty of respectable musicians have penned songs about the City of Angels over the years, but no one does it quite like Bryce Vine. Born and raised in New York City, Vine relocated to the west coast to pursue his promising music career and eventually released Lazy Fair (EP 2014) and Night Circus (EP 2016). Now back with his latest single, "La La Land," Vine continues to mold indie-pop and hip hop into one pleasing soundscape with the helping hand of rapper YG.

With references to the renowned Coachella and the 1OAK nightclub on Sunset Boulevard, "La La Land" sees Vine throwing punches at the Insta-famous lifestyle and ostentatious culture we're surrounded by. Directed by James Larese, the vibrant "La La Land" music video follows Vine and Melanie Iglesias as they make bold appearances at Los Angeles' overrated hot spots, which are revealed to be mere backdrops and studio sets. Most importantly, the "La La Land" visual stars Tiggy the English bulldog–provided by Road Dogs & Rescue, a rescue in Los Angeles that treats French and English bulldogs born with birth defects.

Before Bryce Vine drops his debut album, Carnival, this summer, waste your time with him in California with the "La La Land" music video below:
