Breakout vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dhruv unveils his new single, "How?" This powerful track, co-written by Dhruv and produced by the Grammy-nominated JT Daly, is a spellbinding effort that depicts the complexities of being in a deadweight, one-sided relationship.

"How?" opens with a lilting combination of atmospheric synths, strings, and piano riffs. Dhruv's rich vocals chime in, painting a vivid picture of his relationship with a lover who has checked out. He soulfully sings, "Don't need a crystal ball to make sense of our situation / The little signs, your vacant eyes and dead-end conversations," expressing his realization of his diminishing importance in his partner's life. As tensions rise on the pre-chorus, he pleads with his partner not to let him go, reminding them of all the times he's been there for him.

In the profoundly emotional and relatable chorus, Dhruv bares his soul as he fights to stay by his lover's side. Lush layers of piano, understated, pop-infused percussion patterns, and steady bass rhythms swaddle the listener in a warm blanket of sound as our protagonist runs from his looming destiny. He begs his partner to tell him, "What I got to lose to keep you next to me," and asks them the heartbreaking question, "How do I make you love me?"

In a press statement, the rising singer-songwriter shared, "'How?' is about trying to earn someone's love and attention and realizing you've completely lost sight of yourself in that process."

The new song follows "Tragedy," Dhruv's first taste of new music in 2024, which he performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for his late-night TV debut in February. Both are taken from Dhruv's highly-anticipated debut album, with more new music due imminently. Additionally, he is set to captivate audiences with headline shows in New York, London, and LA next month, with more dates to be announced soon.
