Enter the Emotive  World of guardin With 15 BTS Photos [TOUR DIARY]

At the intersection of alternative, lo fi, emo, and hip-hop, stands guardin. The latest in a new generation of artists, the New York-based artist is creating a tangible relationship with listeners from the confines and innermost isolation of his bedroom, all by way of his laptop. Touching upon often hushed about subject matter - suicidal thoughts, depression, introversion, growing pains, and heartbreak - in his heart-rending evocative style, guardin is a sad boy or girl's dream come true. And while it is all too easy to imagine guardin hunched over in his bedroom, letting his inner demons and aspirations run wild to create yet another piercing project, this winter has seen him taking his emotive music on the road.

From a fall tour with Oliver Francis to a three-show run with Family Pet, 93FEETOFSMOKE, and Shinagami, guardin has been making his talents known on the east coast. And it's not even close to over yet. Currently on an expansive North American tour alongside Mallrat and gnash, we caught up with guardin before setting out yet again to take some time to reflect on life on the road thus far.
