Siaira Shawn's latest EP, Tender, is hands down one of our favorite projects of 2019. Over the past few years, the San-Francisco bred singer has been consistently raising her profile as a talented singer, songwriter, and performer. Her ability to sing candidly about her romantic experiences as a queer woman has helped her separate herself in an overcrowded R&B landscape. Speaking on her experience, Siaira says "As a queer artist, I make that aspect of my identity explicit in my music and media because even as it has become more acceptable to be queer in music, we are still marginalized and need more authentic representation."

In addition to supporting broader representation in music, we support Siaira's prowess for song-making as well. "Wait For It", "Islands", and "No Halos" are standouts from her Tender EP. The Tender EP was executive produced by Mars Today with co-production by ROMderful, Mikos Da Gawd, Chris Keys, Danny Dwyer, and more.
