British singer-songwriter Julius Cowdrey has just released his highly-anticipated double release. Entitled "If This Is Love (I Must Hate You)" and "Better Day," both singles narrate a trying time in Cowdrey's life, illustrating a feeling of being let down by the ones you loved and trusted the most.

"If This Is Love (I Must Hate You)," produced by Benji Totten (Jorja Smith, Kate Stewart, Sasha Keable) and co-written with Jack Hawitt (Zak Abel, Karen Harding, Blue, Embody), is a product of not wanting to write another song about a girl. Masked as a story of heartbreak, the track eludes to the music industry and the sharks that swim in the muddy waters. Highlighting deep passionate vocals, pensive lyrics and radiant percussion, the fiery track is stunningly emotional.

Showcasing effortless silky falsetto soaring over tender piano keys and ethereal layered synths, "Better Day" builds into a rising chorus, delivering an authentic and captivating release. The song thematically takes inspiration from an ex. Cowdrey admits, "I never expected it to happen, but I got cheated on. I lived trusting her every action and without my knowing I became victim to huge disloyalty." Expressing his disbelief he sings, "I guess angels can walk on the dark side."

Splitting his time between London and Los Angeles, Cowdrey has performed at prominent venues in both cities, including the iconic Hotel Cafe in Hollywood and London's illustrious nightclub, Mahiki. The musician his no stranger to success with his first single "7 Roads (I See You)" going straight to number one on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts and accruing over one million streams on Spotify alone. Julius Cowdrey continues to charm audiences worldwide with his rich honeyed tone and candid heartfelt lyrics.
