Alternative singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and rising star Landon Barker kicks off his 2024 with his latest single, "Over You." The emotive effort sees Barker at his most raw, with poignant lyrics backed by dynamic instrumentation that demands listeners' attention from start to finish.

"Over You" opens with a collage of understated strings, synths, and moody, intricate guitar picking. Barker's impassioned vocals ooze with melancholy as he recounts how he can't get his ex out of his head and continues to listen to their favorite songs on repeat. Despite his best efforts to forget and move on, the pain of heartbreak still weighs heavy on his heart, matching the intoxicatingly grim soundscape that he has meticulously crafted. Barker's vibrant vocals soar on the gut-punching chorus as he laments how hard it'll be to eventually get over her because she "was more than just somebody."

Barker commented on the new song, sharing, "Some people you will never get over until the day you die. 'Over You' is a break up song that relates to me personally, and I hope it resonates with you too."

Last fall, the rising star shared his debut single, "Friends With Your EX," and announced his signing to DTA Records. We hailed the single, produced and featuring drums by DTA Records Founder and Landon's dad Travis Barker, as an "...emotional gut punch, carried by dynamic guitar riffs and unapologetic lyrics, has all the makings of a young adult Netflix hit and radio-ready anthem..." Last summer, Barker lit up the stage with a showstopping opening set at blink-182's sold-out show at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, and sold out his own headline show at LA's El Rey Theatre.
