skaiwater Releases BDSM Anthem "wna torture me tn?," Announces 'gigi' Album

Posting and deleting, saying as minimal as necessary, skaiwater has managed to keep the world enthralled without shattering much illusion. Off the heels of the historical “light!” collaboration with Lil Nas X, skaiwater has officially announced their highly anticipated sophomore album gigi, out this June and set to the summer ablaze.

Since breaking out in 2022, skaiwater has managed to shapeshift in front of all our eyes, moving through different sounds and identities with no attachment to what no longer fits right. Quickly becoming hip-hop and jersey club’s most coveted rising star, it’s their inability to blend in an eclipsed inner world that’s left us thirsty to know more.

A BDSM anthem, the album’s second lead single "wna torture me tn?" features rising Atlanta lyricist KARRAHBOOO. Platforming the dexterity of their vocals, skaiwater slows down their usual speed with emotionally transparent lyrics and deeply euphoric sonics. It signals growth for the artist, while giving way for KARRAHBOOO to meet them there, as her raw and raunchy verse elevates the track effortlessly.

Though we’ve come far, this is only the beginning of the rise of skaiwater, who has already seen highly sought-after milestones yet is only hungry for more. As gigi lands on streaming June 14 via GoodTalk/Capitol Music Group, one can only imagine what surprises this project may have in store.
