Pop-rock up-and-comers The Faim are gearing up for a very busy second half of 2019, and what better way to kick it all off than sharing news of their long-awaited debut album byway of an utterly anthemic lead single.

Following up last year's breakout EP Summer Is A Curse, the Australian four-piece will be releasing their first-ever full-length album, State Of Mind, on September 13. Frontman Josh Raven opened up about the highly-anticipated 10-track record and the underlying inspiration behind it, sharing,

"We write from an honest place and that's something we always want to stay true to. It has to resonate with us for it be relatable to our fans. On this album. It was about connecting with ourselves and exploring our influences and our own talent. If we stick to who we are and what we feel, hopefully, everyone else will find something in the music too."

"Humans," the album's lead single, gives fans and the world at large a glimpse into what's to come from The Faim's brand forthcoming album. The chilled-out alternative rock anthem resounds with an understated calm yet still manages to deliver a powerful emotionally-driven message that has become characteristic of the band. The Faim spoke further on  "Humans," sharing,

"'Humans' is about embracing the unique qualities that makeup who we are, from our individual character and personality traits to our strengths and weaknesses. These diverse characteristics, and how they evolve throughout our lives, show us what it means to be human and how connected we all actually are."

With "Humans" and the announcement of their long-awaited debut album, The Faim is setting the stage for a 2019 of epic proportions.
