Wavering somewhere on the spectrum between pop and R&B is NOA, an artist truly worth keeping your eyes on. Although she only has a handful of singles to her name, the 23-year-old has spent the past two years building a collection of songs that we are only getting to hear now. Whether she is discussing female empowerment or relationships, NOA connects with her listeners in a way that is both relatable and distinct.

On "Motions," NOA shared,

"I wrote this song on Valentine's Day last year. It was a gray cloudy LA day and it was my first time being back in the city after my breakup. Being back in the city that felt like him, made me think about all the ups and downs of our relationship, the good and the bad. From feeling sad one moment, to remembering how warm it was being together, 'Motions' showcases the wide range of emotions one goes through after a breakup, especially when you're on your own."

Her dreamy new single, "Motions" is all about both the trying and nostalgic memories that flood your mind following a nasty breakup. Finding it impossible to keep her ex off her mind at the time, NOA decided to channel her thoughts into an entrancing song that is bound to comfort others. With every blissful note, NOA's luscious vocals take us to a special place where we can recognize why we are better off without our exes.

NOA continued,

"The idea behind the song was one of those nights when it's 1 a.m. and you're sitting on your counter in the kitchen, eating a bowl of cereal because you can't sleep and you begin reminiscing about your ex and your relationship."
