21-year-old  Rence is fresh out of NYU and ready to further pursue his career as a singer, songwriter, and producer. After quitting his day job and throwing all he has into his dreams, his latest single "Expensive" is just another step forward into the bright future the young artist has ahead.

With smooth lyrics paired with Rence's seductive vocals and a propulsive beat, the song rings catchy and fun. The new track is in collaboration with singer Noah Cyrus, whose vocals, alongside Rence's, add extra flavor climaxing to a joining forces on the chorus. The song is about giving someone all you have to the point where you realize you don't have much left for yourself, let alone anything to give. This relationship ends up hurting you more than helping you, and this anti-toxic love anthem focuses on looking out for yourself and growing from the hurt.

For Rence, this is a song that gives listeners an extra taste of who he is and what his sound is developing into. The artist is still discovering his sound, and "Expensive" proves that he is moving forward in a positive direction.

This is Rence's fifth single of 2019, following the re-release of his hit song "Baby Blue" from his 2018 debut album Pink, and three new tracks. If you want to see the singer-songwriter live, he'll be performing at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NY on July 24. You can buy tickets here.

Rence told Ones to Watch that he's looking forward to performing his music live later this year and growing as an artist. You can read more of what the singer has to say about his career and more in our Q&A  here.
