"Never Go Back" is inspired by a rocky relationship Dennis Lloyd experienced with a Colombian woman he met in Bangkok. He created an extensive catalog of 40 songs which were all inspired by that relationship. Lloyd spent a full year in Bangkok, without any internet, fully immersing himself in the culture. When he returned back to his home in Israel he wrote this single amidst his breakup with his international love. Sung in both English and Spanish, "Never Go Back" clearly showcases Lloyd's emotional tug-of-war between choosing to stay in his relationship or to move on.

The second music video for "Never Go Back" was filmed in both Israel and Sri Lanka, highlighting the strain long distance put on his relationship. Cinematic shots beautifully capture the love story unfold and then unfortunately unravel. Whether it's love, anger, or frustration, every emotion in the music video is passionately portrayed. Lloyd previously released a music video for  "Never Go Back" titled the  "Official Breakup Video."

The Israeli singer-songwriter is set to have a promising year, with performances at both Coachella and  Governors  Ball, and a new EP due later this year. "Nevermind" was the first song released from Lloyd's time in Bangkok. Although the single wasn't supported by any label, it has amassed over 750 million streams.
