april27 Follows Up His Breakout Hit With the Otherworldly “into a g**”

The twisted genius behind both their music and their visuals, april27 is a chilling enigma who blurs the line between art and ritual.

Landing at 2 minutes and 22 seconds, his newest release “into a g**” is an electronic hyperspeed soundtrack to  midnight horror gameplay, though that seems to be april27’s intention. Getting lost in the decoration while building out a psychedelic nightmare video game, his music is born from a miraculous distraction and its sinister undertones are anything but a mistake.

With his late 2023 single “prayer1” going explosively viral, he’s taken his time with a follow-up as more and more became hypnotized by his trance. With deeper insight, we know now that beyond an album being made, a world is being built.

april27 shares “I design most of my music and visuals around a video game that explores the tunnel between a temple and a nightclub. This character is the main antagonist, inspired by Jibaro, Chandramukhi, Silent Hill and loads of undercover/mm runways, etc.” Speaking to his world-building, he continues, “‘prayer1’ is the ladder soundtrack down into this tunnel and ‘into a g**’ is the chase scene.”

With only more narrative to build on, the story intensifies. With over 27 million streams on Spotify alone and an invested audience, april27 is most certainly one to watch.
