Ari Abdul Emerges as an Magnetic, Ominous Femme Fatale in "BURY YOU"

Breakout pop star Ari Abdul is celebrating the kick-off of her first-ever tour with the release of her latest single, "BURY YOU." The track showcases Abdul's exceptional talent, captivating listeners with her unique style and melodies, ultimately creating a refreshing piece that seamlessly blends elements of pop, rock, and electronic sounds.

"BURY YOU" is an irresistibly catchy anthem that opens with a collection of subdued, glitchy retro-futuristic beats and an underlying synth layer that comes to a stealthy bubble. Abdul's soothing vocals reveal that she "can't breathe when you're looking at me / Under my skin, got me weak in the knees / Just one taste, yeah, it's all that I need / Be my poison I could be your disease." As the infectious instrumentation builds, she confesses she can't help the way she is, admitting that if she can't have her lover, then nobody can.

The chorus breaks into a bout of dark, endorphin-boosting sonics, with Abdul telling her love that they could be together forever and that nothing else matters. The sweet sentiments are laced with an edge as an ominous atmosphere lies in the background of the production.

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, the promising young star has forged her own brand of dark alternative pop. She combines the reverb-heavy swells of your favorite left-field stars, such as The Neighborhood and Lana Del Rey. Earlier this year, she released her debut single, "BABYDOLL," followed by the sped-up version "BABYDOLL (Speed)." Both versions garnered viral success with over 83M global streams, 400M TikTok views, and 420K TikTok creations. Currently, Abdul has embarked on her first-ever tour, 'HELLGIRL,' kicking off with a sold-out show in Toronto on September 11 and making stops in major cities around the world like Brooklyn, Berlin, and London throughout the early fall.
