AVIV Seeks Outside Validation on "love of your life"

Her new single, "love of your life," speaks to the naivety of young relationships. To quote Taylor Swift's song "Fifteen," "When you’re fifteen, somebody tells you they love you, you’re gonna believe them."
With feathery synths, gripping guitars and a catchy chorus, AVIV's indie-pop anthem is sure to have listeners hooked. The Toronto talent is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. When the pandemic hit, it did not deter her. She became more driven than ever, listening to music constantly and focusing on writing. She admits, "Music became a way to convey my emotions. Since I won't even talk to my friends about a lot of these things, it's an outlet for me to talk about things I don't talk about." That unwavering devotion to her craft really shines through in "love of your life."
