DE'WAYNE's Love Is A Part Of His DNA In New Single "Biological" | THE NOISE

Houston-born and Los Angeles-based rock star DE'WAYNE has released his new single, "biological." The title reflects the song's exploration of love's instinctive nature, embodying humanity's duality and harnessing divine femininity through music full of soul, sex, sweat, and style.

On the single, he lets go of all inhibitions and explores love's undeniable, instinctive nature, crooning, "My love gun/ may not be number one/ but at least at number 2/ with you it's something spiritual." Amid invigorating guitar riffs, sensual bass grooves, and driving percussion, the catchy single captures pure, raw, and honest emotion. On the hook, he gushes over his lover, admitting how much he wants to see her again, "cause every time it's so iconic/ every chance that I get I'm running to you," because the kind of love he feels is so deep, it's part of his DNA.

DE'WAYNE shared his sentiments on the new single, "I wrote 'biological' because I wanted to capture that feeling of love that's so deep, it doesn't feel like a choice—it just is. I've never been good at explaining why I keep coming back, but I know it's real, and I know it's natural. This song is me embracing that, letting go of logic and just feeling. I hope when people hear it, they think about the person they can't escape—in the best way possible. Some connections are just wired into us, and that's what 'biological' is all about."

With his latest releases, DE'WAYNE is on a mission to show the world that neither people nor music should be confined to one box. He's a fearless trailblazer in rock, fearlessly fusing genres with raw authenticity. Beyond headlining packed shows on multiple continents, DE'WAYNE and his band have ignited festival stages at Gov Ball, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, Bonnaroo, and BottleRock. They've also announced their performance at the return of the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA, on July 26 and 27.
