Jon Vinyl and Tash Paint a Soulful Haze on "Euphemism" Visual [PREMIERE]

Collaborations can redefine a work due to a natural chemical reaction, and in the same vein, a lack of one. For Toronto artist Jon Vinyl, and Australian songstress Tash, the result is a polished and effortless meshing of sounds and ideologies. As the two come fresh off the heels of their successful debut "Euphemism," they continue to explore the mishaps of timing, through the throes of love, on their accompanying visual.

The track clearly displays the duet between Jon and Tash as an instant ethereal haze, backed by R&B production and a silky pop hook. It's saturated with the confidence of moving on and eloquently partners Tash's vocals with the tight grip of Jon's croon. Displaying an ounce of disconnect seems impossible but it's brought to an open-ended display through Wesley Quinn and Paul Khoury's direction.

Minimally dressing the video and allowing the expansive nature of their surroundings to set the scene, the two cruise through the pastel palette, drenched in sun rays. Despite the track's thematic disconnect, an overwhelming synergy between the artists is still displayed, justifying Tash's comment on the video:

"The video shoot for 'Euphemism' was such a fun, productive day. As Jon and I ventured around Joshua Tree National Park, we got to know each other a little bit better and shared some of the positive feedback we had been getting from the single. Hearing the response to our music only made us more excited to be releasing some visuals to complement it."

From the track to the visual, Jon and Tash's contagious and soulful introduction as a duet becomes instant ear candy for the warmer days ahead. Watch the “Euphemism" video below:
