liily - "Sold" [Live + Interview] | All Eyes On

There is a carnal energy to be found in the pit of a liily live show, one that you can practically feel in our latest "All Eyes On" video and interview with the Los Angeles rock band. Emerging from a constantly growing and evolving culture of youths whose vehemence for alternative and hard rock music can no longer be contained in backyard shows and house parties, liily is standing at the cusp of an electric guitar - led revolution. Performing standout single "Sold" from their debut EP I Can Fool Anybody in This Town, liily delivered a live show the likes of which we have never seen in the Ones To Watch space.

Beyond delivering a transfixing performance that has us feeling less awful about missing the supposed golden age of rock, we also sat down with the Los Angeles band to get a glimpse into exactly how they ended up here. From playing DIY punks shows in warehouses, mosh pit etiquette, to their Charles Bukowski - inspired EP, this is liily.

liily's aforementioned debut EP arrived to widespread critical acclaim and for good reason. The six-track offering plays out with frenetic pacing, demonstrating liily's ability for capturing the exhilarating highs and instrumental feats that makes rock such a timeless yet fluid genre. And this sense of fluidity to liily's music is what establishes them as so much more than mere rock revivalists. This is a band with a profound love for the genre, and we are anxious to see where they can take it in the future.
