The Noise is Ones to Watch's home for all things punk, hardcore, metal, emo you name it.

North Carolina rock band Logans Circle has released their latest incredibly catchy single, “Walk Away.” From its full choruses to climatic ending, the track is a pop-punk rollercoaster from beginning to end.

“Walk Away" opens slow and steady before diving headfirst into a flurry of hooky guitar riffs and solid percussion lines. Lead singer Joey Harper pulls listeners in with his expressive vocals and incredibly relatable lyrics. "I’d describe ‘Walk Away’ as a step forward for the band,” says Harper. “We’re incredibly proud of our debut EP, but it could definitely be viewed as a mishmash of our various styles. In writing this, I feel like we were able to more effectively incorporate parts of each of us in a cohesive unit that sounds like Logans Circle. I think this single will likely come to define our sound moving forward.”

Although the band all come from different musical backgrounds, they try to incorporate each of their unique sounds into their music to create something vulnerable and memorable. Inspired by bands like The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade, and The Starting Line, “Walk Away” explores a breaking relationship filled with yearning, searching, and clawing for a reason to keep fighting for something they loved yet couldn’t find.

"I would definitely say that our influence list has grown rather than changed. As musicians, we always look to learn new skills and find new sounds,“ shares Harper. "That growth and discovery ultimately influence how/what we write in the end, whether it be on purpose or inadvertently. Holding on to our past influences and adding to them allows us to evolve our sound rather than shift completely."

According to the band, they have a few things in the works, including writing material for their untitled sophomore EP and a sequel to "Walk Away,” which will explore the story from the other party’s perspective.
