MICHELLE Finally Lets Go in the Dreamy and Bittersweet “NEVER AGAIN”

Through every musical offering, MICHELLE continually proves that they have mastered the art of deep yearning and sweet sonic swoon.

Dreamy and melancholic, “NEVER AGAIN” sits in familiar company within MICHELLE’s catalog. It’s angelically gentle, encompassed by the strength of their storytelling. Their signature layered harmonies sing to a deep mourning, grieving a soured second chance with someone who should have never gotten a first one.

Every shade, feeling, and font of human is expressed within this six-piece indie pop band, yet somehow, they remain poised. MICHELLE exists in cohesion while honoring all their varied selves, which is why they stand out amongst all the talent making room for themselves in the crowded genre. Contributing members Sofia D'Angelo, Julian Kaufman, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Emma Lee, and Jamee Lockard blend into one voice yet are individually and completely heard.

Discovering a lover to be a stranger is a death with no finality to hold onto, yet “NEVER AGAIN” stands strong in a lesson learned. There’s liberation that accompanies realizing you’ve had enough, and though the bedroom pop single is soft to the touch, there is loud reclamation in deciding where the end finally begins.
