Rambunctious pop-punkers New Aesthetic might not be a household name just yet, but the emerging outfit is here to prove they are more than just the new kids on the block.

Forming in 2022, with each member of the band falling between ages 16 and 20 years old, the SoCal rockers are looking to solidify their name alongside fellow San Diegan bands blink-182 and Pierce The Veil.

Earlier this year, New Aesthetic made headlines when emo pioneers Hawthorne Heights surprised them by asking them to open the California date of their “Is For Lovers” festival via an Instagram post.

In preparation for their performance at the highly anticipated fest and their upcoming headline show at Soma San Diego, New Aesthetic is teaming up with The Noise to debut the music video for their brand new single, “Spork.”

When asked about the new clip, which showcases the band recreating an 80’s classic film, the young, outgoing group stated:

“Making ‘Spork’ was a truly special experience for everyone involved. Not only does the song hold deep personal meaning for each member of the band, but we also feel that we’ve created what is the most New Aesthetic-sounding song possible up to this point.”

“The music video is a tribute to the movie Weekend at Bernie’s” the band added, “and also pays homage to a lot of the Drive-Thru Records music videos from the early 2000’s that we adore.”
