We put together our favorite moody and brooding tunes to accompany your Halloween season - whether it’s the pregame or the game itself, we’re playing these artists all month:

SOFIA ISELLA

The Queen. Whatever the season, SOFIA is on our playlist every time. In "The Chicken Is Naked and Afraid" she makes the terrifying much more bearable.

Ellise

The dark angel at the party put this song on for her ballet debut and suddenly everyone’s dancing. Especially the devils. This must be what heaven is like…

DeathbyRomy

This entire album was delivered for our haunted house, probably, but "CORPSE KISS" is for everyone. It’ll start the party, but first it's turning all the lights off.

Chris Grey & Neoni

We never knew melancholic, eerie melodies could be so anthemic. In "Soul On Fire", this duo takes us on an unearthly rollercoaster that delivers thrill and release all at once. The choices in that postchorus run are so unexpectedly catchy, they have their hooks in us.

Isabel LaRosa

"Hallucination" by Isabel LaRosa is like that scene in a scary movie when our hero moves slowly through a dimly lit crowded room, knowing the killer is hiding in plain sight…she’s alert but she’s not running. She’s hunting.

Sophie Powers

"Muddy" is the seductive graveyard crawl you didn’t know you wanted to participate in. No one minds a little dirt under their nails if it's in Sophie Powers’ grip.

Chromera

Pioneers of lesbian alt punk, Chromera, have just delivered a song straight out of the graveyard and into our bones. "Skeletons" is about addiction and the chains of old patterns, but something about the honesty here is breaking us free.

Holly Humberstone

We could "Die Happy" with this song on repeat, but it’s even more special when the party hits 11:30pm and your crush is lookin’ at you like they found your glass slipper. Good thing you’re dressed like a dead Cinderella; you’ll be dancing around to Holly Humberstone whether or not they like you back.

Haute & Freddy

A modern day "Thriller" has risen from the dead and put on a silly hat with "Freaks" by Haute & Freddy. Their jubilant chant reminds us all to be whimsy, to be magic, and that anything can happen when you let your freak out…

Slayyyter

Would it really be Halloween if we weren’t dancing to a song about "CANNIBALISM!"? Thankfully, Slayyyter is serving and we all want some. This song is the strobe lights of the party, with every other flash revealing the Slayyyter glitter on your flesh.
