Due to everything going on in the world right now, people are desperate for something to  "take them back" or remind them what summer actually feels like. Los Angeles based Pop/R&B singer Sugar Joans may have the antidote.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joans started her music career at eleven-years-old. You may recognize her soulful voice from movies like Trolls 2, Sing, Pitch Perfect 3, or Hairspray. If movies aren't your thing, maybe you saw her on stage with Lorde or Billie Eilish. If live concerts aren’t your thing, maybe you saw her on Season 12 of The Voice where she was a top 12 finalist. My point being, she's everywhere and she can sing.

Today, we have the premiere of Joans' new single  "Perfect." This injection of summer featuring Hugh Augustine and produced by Shag and Scoob, transports you to a reality with long summer nights with your friends listening to music, getting into trouble, and falling in love. Speaking on the song, Joans says,

“'Perfect' is one of my favorite songs that I've ever made and I've been saving it for the right moment. It makes me want to dance and hang out at a BBQ. It just feels good and I think we all need that right now. It felt really good when Hugh and I were making it and I hope it makes people feel good when they listen to it."
