Talker Fights Through Growing Pains On Latest Single "Old Enough" | THE NOISE

Pop-rock phenom talker, aka Celeste Taucher, tackles what it means to really 'grow up' on her latest single, "Old Enough." It's an undeniable hit that celebrates Celeste's love for all things pop-extravagance and is fueled with heartfelt sincerity. She explores the struggle to maintain authenticity within the confines of friendship, weaving together her myriad influences to create a harmonious blend of sound.

The song's introduction sets the stage with a synthy vibe, paving the way for talker's bubble-gum sweet vocals. She paints a familiar, idyllic picture of friendship, which gradually unravels into instability as the chorus erupts. The poignant lyrics, "When will I be old enough/ To tell you I can't be everything that you need/ This feels like we're growing up," pierce through the high-energy soundscape, grounding the listener in the reality of fleeting relationships.

In the accompanying music video, talker sits in a modern-day confessional booth while a range of characters telephone her on the other side. Eventually, she ends up in confession with herself. "The confessional booth represents a need to connect and share, but with a block," she says. "Sometimes the other person isn't listening, but sometimes it's my own lack of ability to express myself in a healthy way. By the end of the video, I'm finally out of the booth and able to be freely out there on the stage, totally seen."

The single is set to feature on her debut album, I'm Telling You the Truth, out June 21, and promises to be a journey of self-discovery, inviting listeners to share in the highs and lows of life's unpredictable twists and turns. With each track, talker invites her audience into a space of mutual understanding and solidarity, where shared experiences pave the way for healing and growth.
