There I Go: Vincent Mason’s Debut Album Hits the Road and Your Playlists

Rising country artist Vincent Mason is preparing for his debut album There I Go to be added to playlists everywhere on November 7, but he is no stranger to streams and the spotlight.
“We’ve been putting out singles for about two and a half, maybe three years now — a couple of EPs, too — and I really kind of feel like those first two EPs felt like an album in a way, but they weren’t like a full, real project,” he said. Slowly releasing singles from the album, including "Little Miss" and "Hell Is a Dance Floor," is giving listeners a taste of what is to come for the singer, but fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience the entire 14-track record.
“‘Little Miss’ is probably my favorite off the record,” he admits. “The way we wrote it was so natural — it started with a title that stuck in my head for weeks, and when we went back to finish it, we decided not to overthink the meaning. Once we stopped trying to force a clever double meaning and just let it be, the whole song opened up.” The guitar, drums, and electric slide are some of the ingredients in the song that has already reached over half a million streams since its release on October 24, 2025.
The album, There I Go, is a body of work that bridges Mason’s well-known authentic storytelling with Nashville production, emphasizing the importance of keeping the entire record genuine. “I think a lot of times you go in with the Nashville band and, like, you go into a big studio and the instinct is just to kind of make it sound like everything else, but we wanted it to have that feel that we were just only having a few people play on it.”
Mason says the “jumping-off point of the album” was the writing and releasing of Hell Is a Dance Floor, a song combining themes of heartbreak and the lengthy process of healing. The song has deeply resonated with fans, surpassing over 100 million streams on Spotify.
Whether you’re on a drive to work or just trying to wind down to guitar and country melodies, Vincent Mason’s There I Go transports you to a world of all emotions. “As a listener, I love to listen to songs alone when I'm driving somewhere or before I go to bed,” he expressed. “I always feel like my favorite songs, I feel like I'm the only one that's ever heard those songs. Hopefully there's some piece of that that's alive in the album.”
Hoping for the album to be a marker of time for his audience, Mason believes this milestone will speak through the speakers and into the hearts of listeners. “I hope this album marks this moment in time, both for me and for anyone who listens to it,” he says thoughtfully. “For me, it really captures everything that’s happened since I wrote ‘Hell’s a Dance Floor.’ My favorite albums are the ones that take me back to a specific time in my life, and I hope people have that same experience with this record — that it becomes a marker of a chapter in their own lives.”
From a small Georgia town of about 90,000 people to a tour bus and the big stage, regardless of where he is, home will always be Roswell, Georgia. “I think Roswell's just-- I would say it's the most normal place in the whole world. It's just like Target and Chick-fil-A and just a very normal suburb,” he recalls. “When I think of home on the record, I think I sing about being back home and it just reminds me of life before I started writing songs, which felt like a really different time in my life.”
Vincent Mason’s success will only keep growing with loyal fans and listeners nationwide, as his second headline tour is set to take off early next year, hitting 29 cities across the United States. “The first headline was awesome,” he explains. “We did some smaller rooms to start out, because we never put tickets on sale. So, we did like 250 to 500, which was awesome. It was like everyone was right there, in those rooms. Then, we went and did 10 or 12 more that were a little bit bigger, a little bit more like what we're going to go do this year, but I'm just really excited to go do that.”
