Worry Club Are Afraid You'll Get "Bored" in Latest Single

Indie alt-rock band Worry Club explore the anxiety of monotony in their latest single, "Bored." The track unveils the mask we often wear to cope with the pressure of a monotonous relationship and the complicated feelings of wanting security in a relationship that feels conditional.

With its dreamy and ethereal soundscapes, "Bored" is a sonic journey that resonates with anyone who has ever felt the weight of boredom and the yearning for something more. Wrapped in a facade of endless boredom, the lyrics "Laugh while you turn the knife and walk out the door or I can hold you tight, but you might get bored" point directly at people's ability to manipulate their intentions.

The haunting vocals and introspective lyrics are brought to life by the captivating production that draws the listener in and never let's go. "In relationships, I can be whatever the other person wants me to be," shared lead singer Chase Walsh. "If I'm myself, I know they'll get bored of me."

"Bored" is the second single from Worry Club's forthcoming EP All Frogs Go to Heaven, set to be released in late March 2023, and it beautifully showcases the group's unique ability to blend emotive storytelling and captivating production and is a must-listen for anyone who craves a sonic escape. The EP release coincides with the band's headlining tour starting in March, with dates along the East Coast before they head west and return home to Chicago for their final show on April 22nd. Alongside this headlining tour, they will also be playing as support on Grayscale's The Blossom Tour with Taylor Acorn.
