347aidan Presents a Wholly Infectious Double Vision on 'Troubled Memories!'

Falling somewhere between emo, hip-hop, and hyperpop, 347aidan's sound is nothing if not intoxicating. The project of Aidan Fuller, an 18-year-old out of Cambridge, Ontario, listening to 347aidan often feels like sitting in the same room as he unabashedly speaks on demons, monsters, or whatever comes to mind.

"Trouble" and "Memories!" arrive following the release of the 18-year-old wunderkind's breakout single "Dancing in My Room," which took TikTok and the rest of the world by storm last year. Released during a period when most of us were growing increasingly sick of staring at the same four walls, the upbeat single signaled an unexpected escape - the idea that even within our encroaching bedroom walls we could still find the time to lose ourselves in a fantasy.

The double release presents two distinct sides of the Canadian wunderkind. "Trouble" falls more in line with his TikTok hit, blending nearly-slurred hip-hop delivery over a euphoric pop-flavored soundscape. Meanwhile, "Memories!" makes the most of pop-punk's resurgence to deliver an infectious explosion of alternative-fueled production and emotive lyrics.

Taken together, Troubled Memories!  is akin to looking at two sides of the same coin; one side may be nothing like the other but the foundation remains the same. Whether he finds himself exploring the world of hip-hop, pop, or whatever is to come, 347aidan presents a wholly infectious vision that you cannot help but lose yourself in.
