Anna of the North & Her Gang of Pups Remind Us How it "Used to Be"

In a modern-age of filters, FaceTune, & FOMO, fabricated realities and clout chasing agendas can become rather dull. When your thumb gets sore and your soul, sad from the constant scrolling and swiping, it's nice to reminisce on a simpler time, where real life experiences were the only source of entertainment and fulfillment. In the second single off her forthcoming EP, due fall 2019,  Anna of the North dares us to take a step back from the future and our phones, in order to re-experience the magic of the way things "Used to Be" (April 10).

"Used to Be" is a continuation of Anna of the North's evident growth as an artist. While the single is still electric with ringing synths and intriguing vocals, like previous single  "Leaning On Myself," one might notice more of an edge to Anna's sound. Though subtle, it's like Anna of the North is no longer drifting through space sonically but soaring straight toward your heart with  fervorous intention.

A dual release, Anna of the North is giving you twice the bang for your buck, with a music video sporting some of the most adorable actors in the biz, because what screams quality time more than bath time with a pack of pups? Yes, you heard right, Anna of the North costars in her "Used to Be" video with a group of ridiculously talented canines, who together truly evoke the feeling of pure fun and connection.

Don't be all bark and no bite; indulge in the video below and prepare to overdose on cuteness.
