DEVORA Manifests a Goth Western Femme Fatale on Debut EP 'Outlaw'

DEVORA just dropped her debut EP Outlaw, and it's exactly the brash, bold, and fierce narrative that we would come to expect from this rising femme-fatale. Known for her sinister-themed plots, DEVORA is forging her own lane in music with her mesmerizing blend of genre-bending sounds and goth-western-inspired concepts.

Outlaw is a five-track call to stand stall, stand firm, and not to take shit from anyone. The leading single “Not Dead Yet” is all about those crazy and haunting encounters found in small-town America. The listener is pleasurably paralyzed by DEVORA’ s inventive take on riddled misachievement.

With fuzz-drenched guitar riffs and drag-racing-inspired melodies, “Not Dead Yet” creates an intoxicating soundtrack for the summer.  While on “Body Bag”, the listener hears Nine Inch Nails-inspired soundscapes dripping with disdain and revenge. “First Fight” features distorted vocals building up to a climactic chorus the listener can sink their teeth to.

DEVORA is known for her visually enthralling music videos, complete with jail time stories, caliginous dances, and scorpions gone wild. On her debut EP she worked with the acclaimed producer Tony Hoffer (M83, Air, Phoenix) and the end result is a rallying cry for the return of rock 'n' roll with a gothic, western edge.
