For Ruben Young, inspiration comes in spades. It can be heard in his sound which draws breath from Marvin Gaye and Modern Mura Masa, as well as in his standout single "Rachel Green," an ode to the  Friends '90s dream girl made famous by Jenifer Aniston.

It was our pleasure to invite this rising modern soul artist to Toronto to perform his standout single "Rachel Green" at our latest Northside Sessions. And be sure to stick around as we sit down with Young to talk about his debut EP, Dreamstate, his writing process, and what the future holds.
