Ruby Waters - "Last Cigarette" [Live + Interview] | Northside Sessions

Ruby Waters can sing. Emerging from the small town of Shelburne, Ontario, the alternative singer-songwriter was very much born into a world brimming with music. Her parents met whilst each in their own traveling band, a chance encounter that would give birth to a gripping new musical force. With a voice that evokes the enduring talents of Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse, we immediately knew we had to invite Waters out for a night of timeless music.

Fresh off touring with Serena Ryder and Classified, and set to embark on tour with Ocean Alley this summer, we had the pleasure of showcasing Waters' before her voice is one known around the country and beyond. Performing her yet-to-be released single "Last Cigarette" (look for it on May 24!), Waters illustrates that her alternative-songwriting talents and moving vocals are very much the real deal.
