Scarypoolparty - "Out Loud" [Live + Interview] | All Eyes On

An artist like Scarypoolparty comes around only once in a lifetime. With a rare gift for musicality that stops you dead in your tracks, Alejandro Aranda has gone from moonlighting as a dishwasher in Pomona, California, that would frequent open mic nights to an artist with the world's attention focused on him. And it was our resounding pleasure to highlight this once-in-a-lifetime talent as part of our latest "All Eyes On" showcase series.

Performing "Out Loud," the single that started it all for Scarypoolparty, we were amazed by his heavenly vocals and masterful guitar playing. Be sure to stick around after the performance, as we chat with this spellbinding joy both on and off the stage about his varied musical journey, American Idol, how Twin Shadow gave him his start, and so much more.

Born Alejandro Aranda, Scarypoolparty rapidly rose to fame following an audition on season 17 of American Idol that left Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and the world at large in awe. Going on to finish as the runner-up of American Idol, Aranda has received no shortage of support from fans who herald him as a future superstar of substance. From selling out his first mini-tour instantaneously to announcing an even larger fall headlining tour, which will include a stop at this year's Lollapalooza, Scarypoolparty is undeniably one to watch.
