Wisconsin native Unusual Demont had quite the introduction last year. His debut single  "Amber" gained millions of streams and massive editorial and blog support. It's no mystery why the song was such a success. Unusual Demont's vocal range, personality, and hook writing all come together to create something truly undeniable. With influences from Frank Ocean and Steve Lacey, Unusual Demont is able to channel these artists without distracting from his own artistic vision.

With such a successful debut, It's often difficult to meet high expectations. With his sophomore single  "Pine," Unusual Demont surpasses these expectations and shows just how consistent of an artist he is.  "Pine" is a slow-burning love song reflecting on the moral dilemma of a home-wrecker that once again puts Unusual Demont's stunning vocals front and center. When Unusual Demont pushes his voice into upper registers, he instantly catches your attention. The atmospheric and funk-inspired instrumental acts as a polar opposite to the dreary lovestruck vocals.

"Pine" solidifies Unusual Demont as a staple new artist in pop for his songwriting and vocals. He can so effortlessly strike a balance between lyrical vulnerability and catchy songwriting that most artists can never accomplish.
