Bella Poarch and 6arelyhuman Stumble Upon the One at a Crowded Party in "Don't Like Anybody"
Just in time for Valentine's Day, Bella Poarch makes a splash with her first release of 2024, "Don't Like Anybody." Teaming up with new-gen scene core trailblazer 6areleyhuman, the butterflies-inducing single is an invigorating melodic emo track infused with hyper pop production and heartwarming lyrics.
Opening with a collection of finger snaps, whistling synths, and glitching beats, Poarch's iridescent vocals paint a picture of being stuck at a party she didn't even want to come to in the first place. Suddenly, she catches the eye of someone from the corner of the room, and with her heart racing, she dives headfirst into the euphoric, pulsating chorus. Amid the flirtatious production, she declares, "I really just like you, I don't like anybody / How could I find my boo inside a crowded party?"
6arelyhuman's presence and delivery flawlessly blend into the neon-coated creation, with their warm, breathy vocals complimenting Poarch perfectly. In the song's outro, the duo gushes over how their new love fills up their "cup" and further marinate in the fluttering and exciting feelings of blossoming infatuation, crooning together, "Feel like we just begun, feel like we just begun."
On the stellar collaboration, Poarch shared, “I'm such a huge fan of 6arelyhuman! What he's doing musically is so bold, different, and cool. When I heard his verse on ‘Don't Like Anybody,' I knew it had to be a single. ‘DLA' is such a fun song, and I personally can't get the chorus out of my head. It also resonates deeply with me as an introvert. I hope my fellow introverts relate to this feeling of not wanting to be around literally anyone except for that one comfort person who just gets you and makes you feel like you're not alone. "Don't Like Anybody" follows the release of Poarch's previous efforts "Bad Boy" and "Crush," featuring pop singer-songwriter Lauv. On the latter bubblegum pink single, flirtatious, dance-inducing beats and sleek vocal melodies embody the rush of an all-consuming crush.
