Connis Reflects on Growth and Change on "SPF 30" [Premiere]

Connis returns with his latest single "SPF 30." The atmospheric record shows the Cambridge, Massachusetts native ruminating on how his partner's sunny outlook on life has changed him for the better, as he sings "I can smell the sunshine on you baby / and it's been rubbing off on me." If you close your eyes and listen, the guitar loops and vocal harmonies on this Indie rap song transport you to a lazy Summer day.

The video is directed by his partner Hannah Ashe and shows Connis rapping in various locales across Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. The video supports the songs overarching sentiment of taking a risk, whether in a new relationship or a new city, and how you can find a sense of home in other places, people, and things.

"SPF 30" is the first release from Connis' upcoming album Somewhere to Go.Watch the video below and stay tuned for more from Connis this year.
