Moby Rich Delivers an Anthem for Anyone Who Has Ever Felt Like a  "Loser"

We're all losers anyway right? If being passionate about funny memes, wearing thrifted pants from the '60s, and collecting cassette tapes is your quirk, that's not weird; that's just you. And that's okay! Alternative-pop duo Moby Rich wants us all to know that being "weird" is cool, and to prove it, they just debuted their new single "Loser."

"Loser" follows the duo's  Songs We Didn't Write project, which saw them covering  Lizzo's iconic "Truth Hurts" and Weezer's legendary "Say It Ain’t So." With the foolproof hook, "Hey, I'm a loser, hallelujah / But I think I'm going to be okay," Moby Rich has created an earworm of an anthem. The percussive-heavy track builds and builds, mimicking the confidence the duo wants to build in their own listeners. Moby Rich spoke on the track, sharing,

"We wrote 'Loser' because we wanted to have our own anthem to let people know it's okay to be a weirdo and to not be understood by everyone. It was one of those songs that wrote itself because of how much we believe in what it stands for. It's so easy to get caught up in what everybody thinks is cool and forget that all the things that make us unique are the parts people remember about us. No one is remembered for just blending in. Be unapologetically you, forget what's 'cool.'"

Well, boys, mission accomplished! We're weird and we're proud.
