Ross Lynch and The Driver Era Push Back Against the "Rumors"

LA rocker duo The Driver Era, consisting of brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch, push back against the gossip with the release of their latest single, "Rumors." Framed with infectious instrumentals and rich vocals, the single is a shining example of the band's ability to blend elements of rock and pop seamlessly while still giving it their special touch.

Opening with angelic harmonies, twinkling keys, and synths, Ross puts his foot down, declaring that he doesn't care what his adversaries have to say; he's going to do what he wants. His dreamy, warm vocals croon, "Tomorrow comes another day / The sun is shinin' on my face / And all these things just fade away from you, it's true," setting up the jauntier pre-chorus that paints a picture of him going for what he wants.

The chorus bursts with passionate energy as infectious instrumentals comprised of sun-soaked guitar riffs, thrumming basslines, and steady percussion patterns blend seamlessly together and lead the charge. "Rumors these Rumors, no one really knows…," shares Ross about the track. "The internet doesn't always have the facts. We wrote a song about it, and I hope you like it."

Following the release, the band will hit the road and perform a few shows this fall. On November 10, the band will be playing with fellow indie pop rock band almost monday in Columbus, OH, followed by a show in Normal, IL on November 12.
