Women supporting women seems to be the phrase on the tip of everyone's tongue these days. In the past two weeks alone, we have borne witness to Shakira and J-Lo's jaw-dropping Super Bowl half time performance to the herds of female professionals supporting Recording Academy CEO Deborah Dugan after her abrupt placement on administrative leave. It seems as if the "catty" female-versus-female stereotype may finally be disintegrating (and good riddance).

Two such boss ladies who can speak to female empowerment are Ones To Watch favorite  Saweetie and powerhouse electro-pop newcomer GALXARA. Together, this show-stopping duo delivers "Sway With Me," the latest exhilarating single from the  Birds of Prey: The Album and an interpretation of Dean Martin's classic bossa nova standard "Sway.“  The forthcoming album features a star-studded, all-female lineup of artists, already boasting singles from Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Charlotte Lawrence. And "Sway With Me" arrives the high-energy, Latin-infused feminist anthem we've all been craving.

Paired with an equally striking visual companion featuring Saweetie, GALXARA, and Ella Jay Basco reiterating her role as Cassandra Cain, the video is bombastic from the first measure. The listener is hit with an electrifying brass section, robust rhythmic punches, and a manipulated vocal introducing the famed "Sway" hook. Aerial images of Harlem and a speedy convertible racing through the streets with our stars sat inside transform into shots from the actual film, moving to a sequence showcasing Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, ready to jump into her next treacherous escape.

Once GALXARA's earth-shattering vocal enters, it's easy to see that we are in the presence of greatness. As if Freddie Mercury and Bebe Rexha produced a vocal love child, the 19-year-old wunderkind riffs through the first verse with ease while stunning her listeners with her out-of-this-dimension vocal range and power.

Birds of Prey: The Album will be released in its entirety on Friday, February 7, but until then, watch the video "Sway With Me" below:
