Sleep Theory Release Earwormy "Stuck In My Head" | THE NOISE

Breakout hard rock outfit Sleep Theory, comprised of vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt, had a massive 2023 with the release of their killer EP Paper Hearts. Now, the four-piece return, showing no signs of slowing down with their latest single, "Stuck In My Head."

The track lives up to its name, starting with punchy, high-octane percussion, throttling guitar riffs, and deep bass lines that weave into an enrapturing blanket of sound supporting Moore's sleek, rich vocal ad-libs. In the verses, he replays his last interaction with someone who had done him wrong in his head, knowing that a part of him is ready to move on and let it go while other parts of him are unable to. In the explosive chorus, he admits to the listener, or even perhaps to the person who hurt him, "You're still stuck in my, stuck in my, stuck in my head/ Unlike anything that you ever said...Guess I can't pretend that we never met, not yet."

"We're beyond excited to share our new single 'Stuck In My Head' with all of you," the metalcore band shared in a statement. "This song is incredibly special to us — it captures the essence of our journey and the emotions we've experienced along the way. The video feels like the next step for us, showcasing our evolution both musically and visually. We can't wait for you to experience this next chapter of Sleep Theory with us."

The accompanying music video, directed by Orie McGinness, is a vibrant and edgy visual that focuses on each band member as they deliver an impassioned performance. The dynamic cinematography and aesthetics are impeccable, flawlessly capturing the raw emotion and musicality.

"Stuck In My Head" follows the success of their previous single, "Gone Or Staying," both of which will hopefully be featured in their live set as they appear on the road this summer and fall on the festival circuit, gracing the stages of Rock Fest, Rocklahoma Fest, and more.
