Acclaimed Panamanian singer-songwriter Sofía Valdés continues to shine on her latest track, "Heart of Glass." The bilingual single is a sweet and somber tune that explores relationships and fragility with an unmatched level of poetic honesty.

"Heart of Glass" opens with the singer expressing that she has used up all her time and patience while summery instrumentals swirl around her soulful vocals. She mulls over the instability in a one-sided relationship, and when the chorus hits, Valdes' soaring vocals ask, "What's it gonna take to turn around?" The track blends elements of folk, bossa nova, and swirling neons of alt-pop into a singular earworm of a song. The 22-year-old continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be an alt-pop artist, with music deeply influenced by her rich multicultural musical heritage.

Valdés most recently teamed up with Pink Sweat$ on "Broken" following her acclaimed EPs, In Bloom and Ventura, which earned widespread praise from the likes of NPR, W Magazine, Interview Magazine, V Magazine, FLAUNT, and NYLON. She's also caught the eye of Chanel, who recently tapped her early as a brand ambassador for Latin America.

Valdés is currently working on her next body of work with executive producer Michael Uzoworu (Frank Ocean, Rosalia, Sza, etc.), so "Heart of Glass" is just the beginning of much more music to come in 2023!
