Get Your  "Summertime Shine" On With MIKNNA's Effortless Beachside R&B [PREMIERE]

LA-based R&B/hip-hop duo MIKNNA have crafted yet another irresistible  summer anthem. The pair have managed to redefine  "feel good" music, and in doing so have tapped into that intangible thing that turns music into pure crack. This is reflected in MIKNNA's Spotify streams (over 6 million), and in the demand for collaboration with the genre-defying duo, some of which have come from the likes of Far East Movement and Anderson .Paak's group, Free Nationals.

The new single is like a bag of sour path watermelons – so addictively sweet and sour and sticky that you absent-mindedly devour the entire bag in a matter of minutes. You'll get so lost in the nostalgic 80s bliss of  "Summertime Shine" that you'll accidentally leave it on repeat for a half-hour and not even notice.

The two halves of MIKNNA, made up of multi-instrumentalist/producer Ken Nana and rapper/vocalist Mike B., have each spent several years performing and paying their dues as members of Los Angeles' underground rap scene. With the official creation of a joint music venture in 2016, MIKNNA was born and almost immediately drew the attention of Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist, to which the pair owes much of its early rooting and success.  "Summertime Shine" arrives as a triumphant and cohesive follow-up to Escape, MIKNNA's first full-length LP.  The duo plans to release a new song every three weeks until the end of the year, and has confirmed that "lots of collabs will be coming out with those releases."

MIKNNA shared their intentions behind the sizzling new release,

“We wanted to create a song that made you feel like you are always on vacation.”

Ones To Watch is honored to be the first ones serving this sublime slice of summer scrumptiousness. Experience  "Summertime Shine" below:
